Service Facilities
2SQ provides its customers with complete shop and mobile service facilities from the Phoenix location, and offers mobile service from the Buffalo Warehouse. Each service van is fully stocked with a wide variety of tools, measuring devices, and electronic accessories to allow us to perform a full range of service on nearly any type of machine tool. These mobile facilities are each stocked with a supply of Bridgeport parts to enable full head rebuilds at your facility.
Syracuse Supply/2SQ has added several key pieces of equipment to our service vans to help in the Care and Maintenance of our customers’ machines. Each van is now equipped with:
- Refractometer - for checking coolant health.
- Drawbar Force Gage - to check tool holding force.
- Precision Levels And Granite Block - to check machine squareness.
Ball Bar Testing and Analysis
Syracuse Supply/2SQ now offers Ballbar Testing And Analysis. Knowing that our customers machines need to be running accurately and efficiently, we have begun offering ballbar testing to bench mark machines. Hence, when a customer calls with a problem, we will know the performance criteria the machine had originally so we can correct the situation as quickly as possible and return the machine to service.
Laser Calibration
Syracuse Supply/2SQ knows that our customers need to get the most out of their equipment. In March, 2005 Syracuse Supply/2SQ will begin offering Comprehensive Linear Accuracy Assessment And Linear Error Compensation Correction Solutions. This service will use Lasers to help correct inaccuracies in older machines (caused by wear) bringing them back to their original calibrations.
Scraping of non-chrome or hardened gibs and ways
There may be life in some older machines. Syracuse Supply/2SQ now offers scraping at our Syracuse NY location. Our staff has over 20 years experience in correction of gib and way wear. We can also do head re-building on various machines.
Coolant
Syracuse Supply/2SQ now offers the full line of Hangsterfer's Machining Fluids, with stock in both the Syracuse and Buffalo locations. Each service technician is equipped with a refractometer to quickly evaluate coolant concentration levels. Armed with this knowledge, our Parts Department can help solve your coolant problems or needs.
